Each member of our coaching staff brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and passion to their role, ensuring that our athletes receive the best guidance and support.

Sean Holmes

Strength and Conditioning Coach

Sean is the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Toronto Rock Lacrosse Club and Oakville Hornets High Performance Program and has earned a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Kinesiology from York University as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Guelph. Sean previously worked as the Strength Coach for the Oakville Blades hockey team for 5 years.

 

Sean believes in being a positive role model to the young athletes he trains, using his passion for strength and conditioning to help his athletes work towards achieving their goals and dreams. Sean's proven training systems as well as his philosophy on the art of coaching are what have helped us achieve such great results with our athletes.

Patsy

Patsy Commisso is a nutritionist with over 20 years of practice experience. Working on the front line with patients has allowed her to create over 20 impactful nutrition programs that are used in many clinics around the North America as well as at her own MCC clinic.


Patsy has developed a Fuel Up program that teaches athletes how to correctly fuel their body for their specific sport and personal health needs.

Rob PAllante

Mindset & Wellbeing Coach

Rob Pallante is a former athlete with an impressive background spanning various industries. After attending Michigan Tech, Rob spent several years in the minors before shifting to focus on a corporate career. 

 

Rob’s journey has not been without challenges, including a near-death motorcycle accident. He persevered and emerged as a 3X Tough Mudder finisher.

When he’s not coaching, Rob is an avid reader and ongoing student of fitness and nutrition. With a passion for personal growth and development, Rob founded Mindset Body Bank to help others achieve their own growth goals.

Mike T

Mike Tarantino is a certified High School Teacher with over 14 years in the classroom. He is a former NCAA player who was named captain, awarded the "Teammate Award", and a multiple All-Conference player at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in the NCAA.  He earned All-American honours in 2004.

​

As a coach, Mike served as a Graduate Assistant at Bowling Green in 2005 where he earned his MBA.  He has coached the Mississauga Reps Midget team to the 2010 National Championship game (Telus Cup), losing 3-2 to Morgan Reilly's Notre Dame Hounds.  In 2013-2014,  Mike was the General Manager of the Toronto Patriots who won the OJHL (Buckland Cup), Central Canadian Championship (Dudley Hewitt Cup), and advanced to the National Junior A Championship tournament. He was named the OJHL Executive of the Year in 2014.
