Sync Sports Academy's academic coaching includes guidance to the best school choices and direct dialogue with recruiting coaches. The program provides players with a personal profile and academic package that they can share with NCAA coaches.

Players will receive team swag, including equipment, apparel, and hockey bag. There will also be 9 NCAA school visits and meetings with coaches.

Sync Sports Academy provides the training and exposure needed to reach your goal of higher education through your sport.

CO-GENERAL MANAGER; WOMEN'S HOCKEY

JEFF CAMPBELL

Introducing Jeff Campbell, a distinguished name in the world of hockey officiating with over 15 years of dedicated service. A graduate of Sports Management from Brock University and a Vice President with Tyres International, Jeff's hockey journey began in the minor hockey leagues of Oakville, where he honed his skills and passion for officiating. His commitment and talent soon caught the eye of the Ontario Hockey Association (OHA), leading to a prominent role as a linesman in various leagues, including CIS, Jr A, Jr B, and Jr C hockey. Not one to shy away from challenges, Jeff transitioned to become a referee and quickly ascended the ranks. His exceptional on-ice performance secured him a coveted spot on the officiating staff of the prestigious Ontario Hockey League (OHL). Jeff's success didn't go unnoticed, earning him significant assignments such as three World Under U17 Championships, where he proudly was assigned to work a Bronze Medal Game, and the World Sledge Hockey Championship Gold Medal Game with Hockey Canada. Jeff's officiating prowess extends to critical moments in Canadian hockey, as he was selected by the OHA to referee championship games and series like the Jr A Dudley Hewitt Cup, Jr A. Buckland Cup Series, Jr B. Sutherland Cup Series, and Jr C. Schmalz Cup Series. Jeff's dedication and standout performances caught the eye of the NHL, leading to invitations to their prospect camps and participation in several NHL Rookie Tournaments. Jeff Campbell's wealth of experience as an official brings a unique and insightful perspective to the game of hockey, making him a respected figure.

HEAD COACH & CO-GM; WOMEN'S HOCKEY

Carlee CAMPBELL

Carlee (Eusepi) Campbell is a remarkable individual both on and off the ice, known for her exceptional leadership and talent. Originally hailing from Sudbury, Ontario, Carlee's journey in hockey began in Oakville, where she honed her skills playing for the Toronto Aeroes and the Oakville Ice in her minor hockey days. Carlee's prowess on the ice quickly caught the attention of the Ontario Women Hockey Association (OWHA), leading to her selection to Team Ontario's U18 squad twice, where she clinched gold medals both times. Her stellar performance earned her a full athletic scholarship to Clarkson University, where she pursued her MBA while making a significant impact on the university's hockey team. During her four years at Clarkson, Carlee distinguished herself as one of the highest point-producing defensemen in the university's history, also earning the prestigious title of ECAC defenseman of the year. Not content with just playing, Carlee also served as an Assistant Coach for the Clarkson team for two years while completing her education. After her collegiate career, Carlee ventured into coaching, making significant contributions to the Oakville Hornet's youth minor hockey association. She later transitioned back to playing, joining the Canadian Women's Hockey League's (CWHL) Toronto Furies for two seasons. Carlee's talent on the ice was further recognized when she was selected as one of the team captains for the CWHL All-Star Game, where she competed alongside some of the sport's most revered Olympic and professional players. Today, Carlee continues to make an impact in hockey as the coach of the Oakville Hornet's U22 AA team. Her coaching abilities were further validated when she was chosen to lead Team Ontario Red at the U18 National Championship in 2023, where she guided the team to another gold medal victory. Throughout her journey, Carlee's passion, determination, and unwavering commitment to excellence have not only propelled her own success but have also inspired those around her to strive for greatness. Whether on the ice or behind the bench, Carlee Campbell continues to leave an indelible mark on the world of hockey.

HEAD COACH; MEN'S HOCKEY

Ross Sloan

Ross Sloan is a seasoned hockey professional with a passion for both the game and mentorship. With a rich background in competitive hockey and coaching, Ross brings a wealth of experience and leadership to his role as Head Coach at SYNC. Ross' journey in hockey began during his formative years in Oakville, where he honed his skills playing minor AAA hockey. He continued to excel in the sport, progressing to prominent teams such as the Mississauga Chargers and the Oakville Blades Junior hockey squads. Recognizing the importance of combining athletics with education, Ross pursued his academic and hockey ambitions simultaneously. He spent four impactful years playing NCAA hockey with Plattsburgh State University. Ross' dedication and talent on the ice didn't go unnoticed, as he was bestowed with the honor of team Captain during his final two years at Plattsburgh. After graduating, Ross' commitment to the sport led him back to his roots with the Oakville Blades Junior hockey Club. Initially serving as an assistant coach, Ross quickly showcased his coaching acumen and leadership qualities, earning him the role of Head Coach and General Manager. Under his guidance, the team achieved remarkable success, demonstrating Ross' ability to inspire and develop talent. Ross' coaching journey continues to evolve as he embraces new challenges and opportunities. In the upcoming 2024-2025 season, Ross will take on the role of Head Coach for the U-15 Burlington Eagles AAA team, further solidifying his reputation as a respected and influential figure in hockey coaching circles. With a deep understanding of the game, coupled with his dedication to player development and mentorship, Ross Sloan epitomizes the qualities of an exceptional coach and leader in the world of hockey. His commitment to excellence and passion for guiding young athletes make him an invaluable asset to SYNC and the broader hockey community.

GENERAL MANAGER; MEN'S HOCKEY

GREG CAMPBELL

Greg Campbell brings a wealth of experience and passion for hockey to his role as General Manager of Men's Hockey at SYNC SPORTS ACADEMY. As a Senior Sales Representative with ColdHaus, Greg has honed his leadership, communication, and organizational skills, which he now applies to the development and management of aspiring hockey players. Throughout Greg’s youth, he competed in Oakville's minor AAA leagues and continued to excel during his Junior Hockey years. During his junior career, Greg proudly wore the Team Canada East jersey in the World Junior A Challenge, showcasing his abilities on an international stage. His outstanding performance caught the attention of scouts and paved the way for his collegiate career. In 2015, Greg committed to Union College at the Division 1 level. Over the course of four years, he demonstrated his prowess on the ice while balancing the demands of academics and athletics, embodying the spirit of the NCAA Student-Athlete experience. After completing his collegiate career, Greg transitioned to professional hockey, where he spent the next four seasons competing with the Florida Everblades and the Atlanta Gladiators in the ECHL. Greg's professional hockey journey came to a close in 2023, as he made the decision to retire from the game he loves. Now, he brings his wealth of knowledge and firsthand experience to SYNC, where he is committed to shaping the next generation of hockey stars. As General Manager of Male Hockey, Greg is dedicated to providing a supportive and enriching environment where young athletes can develop their skills, foster teamwork, and reach their full potential both on and off the ice. With his passion for the sport and proven track record of success, Greg Campbell is poised to make a significant impact on the future of hockey at SYNC Sports Academy.
